Human_Kind Week: November 8–14, 2026!

Established in 2024, join the annual celebration of kindness to ourselves, each other, and our planet.

How it Works:

1️⃣ Complete acts of kindness during the week of November 8th-14th to celebrate Human_Kind Week:

11/8- Self-Care Sunday: Be kind to yourself. Do something that refuels your heart; take a walk, stretch, journal, or rest.

11/11- Veterans Day: Honor someone who served, or support a veteran-owned business.

11/13- World Kindness Day: Do any act of kindness, big or small, and post about it! Tag a friend who inspires you.

11/14- Earth Kindness Day: Care for our planet. Pick up litter, recycle, or plant something green.

2️⃣ Share it on social media with the hashtag #BeHuman_Kind and #Human_KindWeek
3️⃣ Tag @human_kind_project and at least 1 friend on Instagram to pass it on!

Every post becomes part of a nationwide wave of kindness!

2025 Proclamation

Human_Kind Week in Panama City, FL

WHEREAS, kindness is a simple yet powerful force that strengthens our families, schools, neighborhoods, and communities; and

WHEREAS, acts of kindness—whether lending a helping hand, sharing a smile, caring for our environment, or encouraging a neighbor—remind us that we are all connected; and

WHEREAS, the residents of Panama City continue to demonstrate that kindness can bring comfort in hard times, hope in uncertainty, and joy in everyday life; and

WHEREAS, World Kindness Day is celebrated around the globe on November 13, providing a special opportunity to highlight the importance of compassion, gratitude, and unity; and

WHEREAS, The Human_Kind Project, Inc. encourages schools, community groups, businesses, faith communities, and families to take part in kindness challenges, service projects, environmental clean-ups, gratitude campaigns, and other activities that uplift others and strengthen our communities; and

WHEREAS, setting aside a week dedicated to kindness inspires residents of all ages to celebrate, teach, and practice kindness in ways both big and small;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Allan Branch, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the City of Panama City, do hereby proclaim the week of

November 9–15, 2025

HUMAN_KIND WEEK

throughout the City of Panama City, and encourage all residents to participate by showing kindness to themselves, to one another, and to our planet—through acts of service, words of encouragement, and everyday choices that make our world brighter.
